Where to put Nexus Expansions – Guide
This little guide will show you how to install nexus expansions. We show you where to put Nexus Expansions or Presets if they do not work for you.
The 3 simple steps to install nexus presets and expansions
Step 1) To install your nexus expansions or presets, you must find the “nexus content” folder. You have created this folder automatically with the installation of your ReFx Nexus VST. You can search the folder with your search function in Windows or Mac OS.
Our “Nexus Content” folder direction is:
C:Program Files (x86)VstPluginsNexus Content
Step 2) You found your Nexus Content folder? Great! The second step is…
Open the “Presets” folder inside the Nexus Content folder.
Here you must extract all your nexus presets (custom nexus expansions).
Step 3) Extract all your custom nexus expansions into the presets folder, and you are done.
If you extracted them into the presets folder, it should look like this:
C:Program Files (x86)VstPluginsNexus ContentPresetsNexus XP 1
C:Program Files (x86)VstPluginsNexus ContentPresetsNexus XP 2
Inside the expansions folder (in this example ‘Nexus XP 1’ and ‘Nexus XP 2’) must be all your presets files (.fxp)
